Jan 99 - present: Latitudes & Attitudes Magazine writing Captain Woody's World and feature stories, running the Share-the-Sail Charter program. I also looked after s/v Lost Soul, and started Seafaring Charts & Books.

Mar 07 - Sep 07: Opened Coast Guard licensing schools for MarinersSchool.com in CA

May 03 - May 05:  33' sloop - Low Key Circumnavigated.

Dec 96 - present: Organizing and skippering the delivery of yachts including:

41' Morgan - Inconceivable; Hawaii to Guam / 43' Beneteau - Camaraderie II; Panama, Mex, Florida / 41' Gulfstar - Centric; Belize, Cuba, Key West / 42' Catana Catamaran - Destiny's Desire; Southern France to the Virgin Islands / 68' Formosa - Sortilege; San Juan to Galveston / 40' Leopard catamaran - Big Kitty; through canal up to WA / 47' new Leopard; through canal up to Mexico / 48' Tayana - Island Time; ABCs to Guatemala then Guatemala to Mex.  

Jun 02 - Dec 02:  Captain of 76' Ron Holland Sloop - Lady A for private owners. Helped to find their cruising sloop and skippered a summer cruise of Canada.

May 98 - Jan 99:  Captain of 75’ Trawler - Forger for private owners. Served as captain through partial refit and a season in western Mexico.

Feb 96 - Nov 96:  68’ Swan Sloop - Jugra for Malaysian royalty. Served as crew from St. Thomas to Thailand.

Oct 94 - Nov 95:  56’ Formosa stays’l ketch - Lost Soul for Bob and Jody of Lats and Atts. Served as deck hand from CA through the Mediterranean via Panama.

Certifications

USCG Master of 100 ton vessels with sail and towing endorsements. Scuba / Ham / CPR / First Aid / ASA certified sailing instructor / Licensed Yacht Salesman / Ordained minister.

Relevant Information

I have done, and continue to do, boat deliveries, sail and power, throughout the world. I have also enjoyed racing sailboats. I speak some conversation/ information Spanish. I have sailed in all of the worlds equatorial oceans and on many of their cruising routes and have accrued over 70 thousand ocean miles as skipper. It is for the love of the ocean and the vessels that ply her that I will forever be linked to the sea.
